2D1N: TAM HIỆP ISLAND + ÚT TRINH BẾN TRE HOMESTAY
DAY 1: AN HÓA BRIDGE – TAM HIỆP ISLAND – ÚT TRINH HOMESTAY
After 2 hours driving from HCM city, you will arrivre Ben Tre province. Walk to the local workshop to see how they make sticky-rice cakes. Then we take the boat to visit a local factory to see many kilns to make activated charcal from coconut hard-shell.
Crossing Mekong river, called Cửa Đại & Cửa Tiểu, 30km far from the Eastern Sea, we arrive Tam Hiêp Island. Check in Ut Trinh homestay. Lunch at local hourse, relax .
Biking to special farm where they are planting the creepers (called LÁ SÂM). We pick up some leaves for making & tasting this special herbal jelly.
Biking + walking on small village paths through huge orchards to arrive the local family to enjoy some kinds of fruits, honey-tea.
Next, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time.
Come back the homestay for a fresh shower, then go to the kitchen to cooking our dinner with the family. Enjoy dinner with the lovely host!
DAY 2: HOMESTAY – TAM HIỆP ISLAND – LONG ĐỊNH
Having breakfast at homestay, have biking trip under the huge orchards on this island. We’ll come to visit the local market and bee’s farm... Also, we can stop at the local pagoda. Come back our homestay, check-out and say goodbye to the host. Come back your bus.
