CAI THIA – CAI BE – VINH LONG
The program will start at CáiThia village of Caibe district in Tien Giang province. Come to Mrs Năm’s family to see how she makes rice paper in more than 60 years. We have one more option to see more about Mekong Delta if we have a biking trip in one hour to explore the famous village of Hoa Loc mango on the small beautiful roads. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood or palm leaves in Mekong Delta… Come to a local and peaceful home, we can create some local cakes and taste it with hot tea. After biking, we’ll come back Cai Thia village.
Be on our boat and enjoy the best lunch on boat when the boat is toward to Tân Phong Island. After a delicious and happy lunch, we will come to Bà Năm canal. The rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time on small canal. Then we come back our boat to have a quick visit of Cai Be town & the ancient church from the boat.
Enjoy some kinds of tropical fruits when listening to the traditional music and cups of tea. Cross the famous river to An Binh Island. One more optional stop can be made at the local workshop where you can see how to make coconut candy, pop-rice, rice wine... We cross the mighty Mekong after traveling along the floating houses and fish farms to finish the boat trip at the new boat station in Vinh Long city # 4:00 PM.
